Born in 1966, he has been Managing Director of Viessmann Deutschland GmbH in Allendorf since 2012. A native of the Sauerland region, he began his career after studying electrical power engineering at the Institute for High-Voltage Engineering at RWTH Aachen University, initially as a branch manager at AEG.

He then moved to the management board of ThyssenKrupp HiServ GmbH. After holding further management positions at the GEA Group and as spokesperson for the management board of TÜV Rheinland Industrie Service in Cologne, he joined Viessmann Deutschland.
