Christoph Kahl, Stellvertretender Vorstandsvorsitzender der Kölner Universitätsstiftung

Christoph Kahl

Born in 1954, he studied business administration at the University of Cologne, specialising in banking, insurance and marketing, and graduated in November 1977.

Early in his career, he specialised in property investments in the USA for German investors. In 1983, he founded Jamestown L.P. for this purpose, based in Atlanta, USA, and remained its managing partner until his departure in December 2022. At the end of 2022, Christoph and Ute Kahl sold 50 per cent of their shares in the Jamestown Group and remain shareholders with a 25 per cent stake.

Christoph and Ute Kahl have been actively involved with the Cologne University Foundation since 2017, particularly in support of the construction of the InnoDom.
