Beate Lippelt studied economics at the University of Paderborn, specialising in human resources and organisation.

Following roles as Federal Managing Director of Katholische Junge Gemeinde e.V. and the Catholic Workers’ Movement, Beate Lippelt served on the board of the ZASS Foundation from 2009 to 2019.

In 2015, she qualified as a Foundation Manager (FA) at the Fundraising Academy.

Since November 2019, Beate Lippelt has been Managing Director of the Cologne University Foundation. In this role, she is responsible for the strategic development of the foundation as well as key funding projects, including the flagship project InnoDom Cologne.

She volunteers as a founding member of Gambia Bayoolu e.V. and supports the association as an adviser to the board and as a social media manager.
