The 2023 Summer School on Feminist Legal Studies was successfully organised thanks to the generous support of the Cologne University Foundation. From 23 to 25 June, 66 participants gathered at the University of Cologne to explore the overarching theme of ‘Feminist Perspectives on Security and Violence’. Through lectures, discussions and workshops, current issues relating to domestic violence, migration and institutional perspectives on violence and security were addressed.

The Cologne University Foundation played a decisive role in creating this valuable platform for the next generation of legal scholars and in promoting dialogue on feminist legal issues.
