One of the Cologne University Foundation’s first flagship projects is the InnoDom Cologne co-working space. The construction of this innovative office building was made possible by a generous initial donation from the Cologne alumni community.  

The building offers a total of 164 coworking spaces in open-plan workspaces and private offices (homebases). Spanning two floors, Gateway ESC – the University of Cologne’s start-up support service – has taken over a portion of the co-working spaces. Start-up founders affiliated with Gateway ESC receive advice from coaches and mentors. They also receive support with applying for funding programmes and networking with partner companies and investors.
