The Cologne University Foundation provided short-term funding for a series of scholarships for students affected by the war in Ukraine. In addition, the Foundation allocated around 4,700 euros to the Cologne/Bonn Academy (CBA) in Exile. The CBA in Exile used the donations to fund office workstations for academics who had fled from Ukraine, Belarus and Russia. This enabled them to continue their research in Germany.
