Faculty Club University of Cologne

The Faculty Club is a new format at the University of Cologne, initiated by the Kölner Universitätsstiftung. The aim is to create a space for cross-faculty dialogue - open, informal and inspiring.

This is where academics, teaching staff, university management and representatives of urban society meet - in a setting that enables personal discussions and new perspectives. We want to get into dialogue with each other in a pleasant atmosphere over finger food and drinks.

The Faculty Club sets impulses, creates connections and invites you to think about the future of the university together.

Faculty clubs have a long tradition at many international universities: they serve as meeting places for professors, researchers and other university members to network informally and develop ideas together - away from committees or official events. The University of Cologne is now taking up this proven model in its own form for the first time.

The Faculty Club is aimed at members of the University of Cologne - from academic staff to university management.

It is precisely this mix that makes the Faculty Club so special: people from different disciplines and perspectives meet here - openly, at eye level and without a fixed agenda.

Interested people from business, politics, culture or urban society are very welcome. Guests are also welcome.

The Faculty Club meets weekly during the lecture period - always on Tuesdays at 6 pm.

During the lecture-free period, the meeting takes place on the first Tuesday of every month.

The venue is the Innodom Cologne, Weyertal 109, in the Yellow Like-It.

The InnoDom Cologne is a modern work and meeting place in the immediate vicinity of the University of Cologne - initiated and built by the Cologne University Foundation.

It offers start-ups and young entrepreneurs space to work, exchange ideas and network - in close proximity to science and in an environment that promotes innovation and collaboration.

The Yellow Like-It is an open event space on the ground floor of the building.
