Our Vice Chairman passed away suddenly and completely unexpectedly on January 9, 2024. With his expertise and great dedication, he supported and advanced the foundation’s establishment in 2019 and its development in the years that followed from the very beginning. Promoting science and education, as well as empowering young people, were very important to Dr. Dietrich Gottwald. With his characteristic friendly and warm manner, he served on our foundation’s board, advocating, among other things, for the construction of the InnoDom Cologne, for well-equipped teaching facilities, and for COVID-19 relief efforts during the pandemic. We will greatly miss Dr. Dietrich Gottwald’s support, but above all, we will miss him as a person.
