Another project under our “Technical Equipment” grant program has been successfully completed.
At the Wienand House, located just a few minutes’ walk from the main building, the library’s event technology has been completely upgraded. The space is used both as a learning environment and regularly for events, workshops, and seminars—making it all the more important to have technical equipment that meets these diverse needs.
The existing technology no longer met current standards. The recent modernization has created a state-of-the-art and high-performance setup that significantly enhances the room’s functionality.
At the heart of the new setup is an interactive whiteboard that opens up new possibilities for collaboration and instruction, particularly in teaching and workshop settings. In addition, a 360° camera enables the recording and documentation of events, allowing content to be reused flexibly and made accessible over the long term.
This technical upgrade has created a modern space that meets the requirements of contemporary research, teaching, and event formats and supports new forms of exchange.
